I put in my first real workout today since delivering baby Spencer!
If you’re counting – and I am – it’s 11 days since giving birth. So, it might be a short workout, but it’s something:
16 min on the bike (I was going to do just 15 but I was so close to finishing out two miles, I figured why not…)
15 min light yoga (a sequence of cat/cow’s, child’s pose, cobbler’s pose, and a sun salutations – no triangle poses yet!)
about 10 min light weights (5 lb weights – reps of 12 x2 – hammer curls, tricep kickbacks, concentration curls, upright rows, lateral raises and seated shoulder press)
Post workout I enjoyed yet another green smoothie!
I’m out of straws, but felt that my smoothie needed a little flair - a matching umbrella did the trick! Too bad I don’t have umbrella straws!
Into the blender:
Ice
1 cup Chobani plain yogurt – for protein!
1 cup CranRaspberry juice – out of OJ ![]()
1 Banana
1 tsp Pure Hawaiian Spirulina
Don’t be fooled by the green! Delicious!
