Arms Workout

Happy Monday! It seems like a month has gone by since last Monday – between working two jobs, going skiing and then crashing the truck a lot has happened in the past seven days. I’m looking forward to an easier week. Can we just assume that I deserve that at this point? Okay, cool…

Breakfast

I actually packed myself a really nice breakfast: yogurt, oatmeal and a pear… AND I packed a nice lunch. Left it all at home this morning. Also, I had made myself some tea so that I could stay warm on the train into work – grabbed the wrong thing as I was walking out the door and now I have a cup of cold, day old tea to lug around with me. Lovely. ALSO, Nick had switched out camera cards last night and told me my pictures for this morning’s post were on the “bigger card” so I glanced at the little stack of memory cards and grabbed the “32″ instead of the “8″ – news flash, “bigger number” doesn’t mean it is bigger. So instead of finding pictures of our weekend I opened a file of pictures of Nick and his ex from years ago. Oh joy.

Clearly, my morning is off to a GREAT start. Blah.

As soon as I get off this train I’m headed straight for my little café to get a cozy cappuccino and some breakfast. Gotta turn this day around! I seriously plan on having a better day from here on out. Who’s with me?!

Workout

Since I’m a bit out of commission for my usual workouts, I’m switching it up with some free weights today. Focusing just on my arms rather than focusing on the fact that I can’t really exercise with my legs :)

I am feeling much better – sore and slow but I am hoping that when I go to physical therapy later this week that I will get the green light to start reintroducing leg work to my routine. We shall see!
