Friday! We made it!
If you saw my post yesterday about the creepy dreams, you’ll be happy to know that I slept dream-free last night and woke up feeling much better. All thanks to a little Sleepytime Tea and a muscle relaxant. I tried to do just the tea but I was in so much pain I decided to break down and take the medicine.
Breakfast
This morning’s breakfast was a nice little tropical getaway before I have to get ready for work. I think the craving for a smoothie was solidified by my dream about blender blades.
Tropical Getaway Smoothie
Makes 16 ounces.
- 1 Banana
- 1 Cup Frozen Fruit Blend (Mango, Pineapple, Strawberry)
- ½ Chobani Plain 0%
- ½ Cup Ice
- ¼ Cup Water (or milk)
We keep drink umbrellas and straws on hand at all times. You really never know when you might need one. And a touch of ridiculous will cheer up even a Monday, or in this instance a Friday you wish was a Saturday
Workout
Feeling much better this morning, I decided to go ahead and do a little yoga to start my day. I did Yoga for Runners (ßfree YOUTUBE video) because it has a lot of hip opening stances and god knows I could use some help with my hips right now. I couldn’t do everything because my left hip is still very tight but it felt good to get my body moving.
