We made it to Friday! I can’t wait to get out and celebrate the weekend! We missed out on the past two weekends because we were home sick – I can’t believe how long this stupid crap has lasted. I’m still coughing and a bit tired but for Pete’s sake I refuse to spend another weekend locked up at home.
Today after work we’re going to check out the new City Creek Center which opened yesterday. Stores I can’t wait to peruse through: H&M, Nordstrom, BCBG, and Michael Kors. Of course we’ll also be strolling through Tiffany’s, Coach and White House Black Market just to look at all the pretty things
But before that fun stuff, I have work today at both offices. First up architecture, then an afternoon stint at the design shop.
Today is sure to be a long day but luckily I started the day right with a good workout and a healthy breakfast.
Workout
It’s the last day of the 3 Week Arm Challenge! I stated before that I’m doing a make-up week because I missed some days while I was sick but I’m so happy with the results! I know that I’ll be continuing the arm workouts for sure! I am going to put together a Leg Challenge so if your 20,30,40 or 50-something get in touch quick and you can be a part of the fun! Gotta get those legs all sexified for swim suit season!
The last day of the Arm Challenge called for shoulders and triceps.
Breakfast
I made myself a bowl of buckwheat and chia seeds topped with some nectarine chunks and nutmeg. I know everyone loves cinnamon on their oatmeal and buckwheat, but I just love the intense flavor of the nutmeg so much more. Try it!

After breakfast I was in a big hurry to get out the door and on my way to work – but something distracted me:


That’s the panoramic view of the sunrise! Pretty gorgeous huh? This view spans from Monte Cristo across Pineview and over to Snowbasin which is on the far right. I love that this is the view from my backyard!
