I’m REALLY looking forward to the weekend. Not only has it been a busy week (in the best of ways, and yet still tiring), but I also have a fun little plan up my sleeve.
My friend Brett put together this amazing booklet: #ItPaysToLiveInOgden and I’ve mapped out my weekend shopping and shenanigans based on the coupons inside.
[And I apologize in advance to my non-local readers, this post just ain’t gonna do much for ya ]
I’ve already used my Tona coupon for date night last weekend. (**HINT: my vegetarian friend gave me hers so I have an extra!!) so tonight for our dinner date we’ll be using the coupon to Juvy’s: buy one, get one 50% off entrees.
Juvy’s is a new Filipino restaurant that I’ve been hearing rave reviews for. I peeked in the windows yesterday and it is absolutely gorgeous in there. I want to zoom the day ahead and have it be five already, my mouth is literally watering just looking at their menu.
Saturday I’ll be out running errands and am totally stoked to use my buy one, get one free coupon at All About Socks: a locally produced sock company that has MY FAVORITE RUNNING SOCKS of all time. Plus, when I was in there the other day I had spied a few things that would make great Christmas gifts – not just socks!
Out running errands is a good time to use my Grounds for Coffee coupon to get a free coffee.
I’m also thinking that with this cold weather, it’s a perfect time to use the free studio fee coupon over at Color Me Mine, maybe the kids can make something cute for our kitchen, or start in on a Christmas present, or two.
While the leaves are still sporting their golden leaves, I’d love to set up a shoot with Hardison Peek: $100 family photo session, on location, and free prints included, yeah, I’m definitely up for that!
My phone’s been broken for about five months now so I figure it’s darn near time to drop my phone off at Fix All Cell and get the screen replaced. 10% off – booya!
While we’re out, I’m hoping that Price is Right Carpet Cleaning and come and do our carpet and also steam clean the slate. I’ve actually been waiting for a coupon for carpet cleaning!
Sunday morning I’ll hit up Blooming Lotus Imports for $5 yoga with the kiddos, taking advantage of 10% off merch to buy a t-shirt I’ve been eyeing for a week or two, and then snag a juice for 10% off at A Good Life Cafe.
And… the ringer? Mack just asked about taking guitar lessons so I was stoked to find a coupon for a FREE lesson. He can see what it’s all about and then we can decide whether he wants to commit and all that.
